A: Information on our workshops and events is available on the events calendar on our homepage. Please note that the calendar may occasionally be out of sync, but by clicking on the desired event, you'll be directed to the booking page with the most up-to-date details.


3. Pay What You Can Scheme

Q: What is the Pay What You Can scheme?
A: Our Pay What You Can scheme allows members to book studio spaces at a price they can afford. For more information and to join, visit www.actorseast.com/paywhatyoucan.


4. Accessibility & Parking

Q: Are your venues accessible?
A: Currently, our buildings are not fully accessible, but we are working to improve this and are applying for funding to make necessary changes. The ground floor in Haggerston has 3 steps to access Studio Tardieu, but the Playhouse East is accessible without steps.

Q: What are the parking options?
A:

  • Dalston: Parking is available at the Gillett Square car park, which is pay-and-display from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

  • Haggerston: Street parking is available and is pay-and-display from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Parking is free on weekends.


5. Capacity & Noise Policies

Q: What are the capacity limits for your spaces?
A:

  • Dalston: Seats up to 60 people, with a comfortable maximum of 30 for rehearsals.

  • Haggerston:

    • Studio Tardieu: Comfortably fits 15-20 people.

    • Playhouse East: Comfortably fits about 50 people, with seating for up to 100.

Q: Are there any noise restrictions?
A: Yes, noise restrictions apply:

  • Dalston: No amplified music before 5:00 PM.

  • Haggerston: No amplified music in any of our spaces without prior consent.


6. Cancellation Policy

Q: How do I cancel or change a booking?
A: You can cancel your booking through the confirmation email you received. If you need further assistance, please contact us at contact@actorseast.com. We recommend canceling well in advance to avoid any fees.


7. Special Requests

Q: Can I store props or sets at your venues?
A: Yes, we offer storage for props and sets at a rate of £5 per day. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.
